Loft
|
Lofting is the process of connecting profiles created on different workplanes to produce a model. In completing a lofted design you will:

To loft through two profiles:

Simple two profile loft Create profile for the base Create a new workplane Create a new sketch on the new workplane Draw profile for the top surface then deselect all lines Commence the loft process - Select the base to add to the Profile list Click the top to add to the Profile list The completed loft |

Lofting through three profiles
Create base profile
Create new workplane
Crete sketch on new workplane
Create profile on second workplane
Create next workplane
Create a sketch on the new workplane
Create the profile on the top workplane
Commence loft - select bottom profile
Select middle profile - Note in this example loft line is incorrectly aligned
Drag yellow handle of the loft line to correct the corner
Select the top profile
The completed loft
