Copying Features


Copying features can save time and increase the accuracy of designs.

To copy an edge feature

  • EITHER

    • activate the Select Features tool from the design toolbar

    • select the edge feature which is to be copied

    • from the edit menu select copy

  • OR

    • right mouse click the feature to be copied in the Browser - Features window

    • select Copy from the drop-down menu (shown to the right)

  • activate the Select Edge tool from the design toolbar

  • select the edge(s) to which the feature will be applied

  • from the edit menu select paste

 

To copy a face feature

  • EITHER

    • activate the Select Features tool from the design toolbar

    • select the face feature which is to be copied

    • from the edit menu select copy

  • OR

    • right mouse click the feature to be copied in the Browser - Features window

    • select Copy from the drop-down menu (shown to the right)

  • activate the Select Face tool from the design toolbar

  • select the face to which the feature will be applied

  • from the edit menu select paste

  • repeat the last three steps for each face that requires a copy
